Diego Garcia 13254
Hearing some very weak traffic this morning from Diego Garcia on 13254.
Haven't heard much of anything from them in a number of weeks through sporadic monitoring of the frequency so I'm not sure if they just haven't been using the frequency in favour of their other discrete frequencies or whether it's been propagation. I still have not heard them as well as I did back in late 2001 when things were ramping up for Afghanistan. Perhaps they have some log periodics that were aimed back this way at that time? dxAce Michigan http://www.iserv.net/~n8kdv/dxpage.htm |

Glad you were able to confirm it is still operating, and that is always a good catch, as they are only trying to reach aircraft in their AOR, not Michigan G. Jack |
