"the captain" wrote in message om... this is how stupid: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW Lack of research always makes a stupid consumer. He has 0 feedback and when the endorphins generated from his bidding frenzy wear off, I doubt he'll pay it? What I will -never- figure out is how these folks know -enough- to understand what they are bidding on where a specialized item is concerned, but not enough to know what's exhorbitant. I mean, it's not like some total newbie with little or no SW knowledge is browsing Ebay and says "Golleee, what's this? I'm gonna get me one o' them" Or is it? I think what happens sometimes is, Some people put a real high number on an item thinking nobody will bid much past what its worth and some other genius with the same idea does the same thing and Viola!! he gets screwed trying to gain the edge. Assuming the bidding is on the level here, that looks like what might've happened. There is not one but two people who want to pay more than $190. So far. |
