Having trouble with my 2010. When I activate the Sync detector or try to
utilize SSB, I lose all audio. Otherwise, the unit works perfectly. I
purchased the radio new in 2001. Is there still an outlet for repair? Would
appreciate any feedback from any of my fellow DXers.

Strange things happen when the AA batteries get old. If the display is dim
change the AA's and see if that fixes your problem.

Have tried fresh batteries without success. Any other ideas??

Unfortunately, the POS is too light to use as a doorstop and too heavy
to use as a paperweight.
