1.020 MHz Time Signal? : This is a Cuban time station on MW I believe...
Cuba is the only nation using MW for time signal relay purposes. I believe that the rest of the radio programming is newsradio, like ABC Newsradio. For the last few nights on 1020 KHz where I normally hear KDKA out of Pittsbugh I've been hearing a non english voice (French?) and the "tick-tock" of what sounds like a time signal. |

The time signal ticks are part of their programming, also news, etc. Sometimes (if not all) they send a 'RR' in code every now and then.
