I had the Yupiteru MVT 7100 which is brilliant on VHF, it was OK on SW, but
nothing brilliant. Check out http://www.strongsignals.net/index.cgi for review of scanners Richard SO5GB "starman" wrote in message ... I'm thinking about getting a VHF/UHF pocket scanner which also has some HF coverage. I realize these models don't have really good HF reception but I think it would be nice to have that feature just for fun. I'd appreciate hearing from any of you that own one or know something about the various brands/models.
