You will never go wrong with a Sony 7600GR.
It's very sensitiv on the whip but also works nice(r) on bigger antennas
connected to the antenna jack. A 30ft wire will do just fine in most cases.
For broadcasts in german language go to the ILG page to get the
schedules. http://www.ilgradio.de/ilgradio.htm
The winter schedule is currently in preparation. It should be available
end of december.

You might select 'german' to get the german broadcast schedules.
