greetings, i am trying to help my mom receive the german radio program
deutche welle. she has a portable short-wave radio, type, model unknown,
but apparently there is a ton of static and such. i'm thinking her radio
is rather old so if i were to buy a new unit can anyone recommend any
brands? she lives in the ozark mountains but at a rather high elevation
so i dont think interference from surrounding mountains will be an
issue. she wants a radio that she can move around the house. also, will
she need a large antenna?
any help/info is appreciated
