Er um what does this have to do with a Jean Shepherd marathon/begathon
on WBAI?

True WBAI/Pacifica followers probably would have gone for Nader or
someone further left.

But if someone posts something about Jean Shepherd on WBCQ is the
follow-up going to be about some of the dubious programming WBCQ has?

The leading sports station in the NYC area (WFAN) is the originating
station for Imus in the morning. (who has survived a few changes of
ownership and format from the WFAN days)

Do you think the averages sports fan listening to WFAN gives a used
piece of toilet paper about arguments over Imus?

I was at Oakland Army Terminal for four days and nights waiting on going
to Vietnam,January 1964.Some guys and myself used to catch a bus going
across Treasure Island to San Franciso to see the sights.We once stopped
at a restaurant by the name of Snow White And The Seven Drawfs on San
Pablo Blvd in Oakland for lunch.The manager/owner of the restaurant
would not let us pay for our meals when he discovered we were going to
Vietnam.
