Like any attorney will spend time over some dumb Usenet post...hope you have
LOTS of money and LOTS of time to pursue such a "vanity" case.

How could such a post cause you "financial loss"!? Better have some
concrete figures in hand in *real* life when you make such threats to Usenet
posters.

Get real, Mary Ann - people have said a LOT worse things about *me* on
Usenet (that I'm a gay prostitute with AIDS, that I live in a dirt hovel,
that I've had sex with my mother, etc. etc. etc...). Best to just
ignore/laugh at such posts and move on (and like you I post under my real
name, any employer/business/acquaintance can google my name and find all
this stuff).. If you are so sensitive to flames then I'd suggest you get
off Usenet and stay off Usenet...or find a new alias/persona to post under.

*Now* this poster (who started the thread) knows they have gotten the "best"
of you, and they may delight in making further "mischief" against you,
baiting you, etc. You fell for their troll. Good luck in finding them!

And lastly from what I've read you apparently are no Usenet "angel" yourself
.. If you didn't apparently insist on deliberately ignoring basic
netiquette protocol, netcopping people so much, etc. then perhaps these
"gremlins" would simply ignore you. As it is you've apparently caused a lot
of rancor over the years on Usenet, so you might consider your *own*
behavior. Plus which you have posted WAAAAAAY too much of your personal
stuff on Usenet/the internet. It's something to consider (and I DO mean all
of my comments above *sincerely* BTW, I am not flaming you).
