But further out, when everyone has wris****ch size, secure encrypted digital satellite two-way receivers (hey, I can dream, can't I? :-o ), I don't imagine there will be too many utilities and Mossad numbers stations on "Shortwave" as we know it now! And there will be Cingular and Verizon wanting a buck a pop for each message sent and for each moment of usage. Once the kids today grow up and discover that a cell phone doesn't mean freedom but the ability for someone at work to call you 24x7, they might not like those blackberrys and cells so much. --Mike L. |
