The fact that no updated beacon lists or forums specifically for this type of operation exist any longer is why I decided to start my Unlicensed QRP site and forum. -- Visit the new Unlicensed QRP website and forums: http://www.qrp.timpauly.com The site and forums are geared toward legal, unlicensed (non-ham) radio operation for low-power hobbyists around the world. |

It is a short callsign because of the keying circuit I am using. Formerly, the beacon was known as "RAD" in Radford Virginia and was heard in several states. I'm not sure if I ever heard RAD or not but I have heard one out east that was of comparable power to yours before. I'll keep an ear out for it. I've a 200' long wire aimed out that way. dxAce Michigan USA Tim -- Visit the new Unlicensed QRP website and forums: http://www.qrp.timpauly.com The site and forums are geared toward legal, unlicensed (non-ham) radio operation for low-power hobbyists around the world. |
