1. The police spokesperson initially said he was wearing a thick, padded
jacket.

It transpired he was wearing a denim (read that as thin) jacket.

2. The police spokesperson initially said he 'jumped' the ticket
barrier.

It transpired he had a valid travel card.


I have no problem with them shooting him but why lie about the reason
why he was a suspected terrorist bomber?

Yes, he was in this country illegally. The police did not know that when
they shot him!

Also, if you're going to shoot the guy, why not do it out in the street
before he had the opportunity of entering an underground train
compartment full of up to 150 other people?

PS. I'm no whinging liberal. I believe in Texas justice to burglars -
shoot first and ask questions later.

We have "Texas justice" here in Mississippi too,this is the old
South.(South is always best) Florida has a new law that is cool,I hope
all of the Southron states in U.S.A.also adopts that law.I believe the
Brazilian guy was a decent enough guy,he was an electrician,wasen't he?
He couldn't have been dumb,but he did something stupid,he should have
stopped when the cops told him to stop
