Anytihig else to do to improve reception?

Get about 18 to 22 inches of thin wire and wrap (or attach an alligator
clip to one end of the wire) a bare end of the wire a couple of turns
around your radio's antenna.Mount the other end of the wire on a wall
useing a piece of tape or a thumbtack.
