My electric power came back on at 4:22 PM this afternoon,it had been off
since yesterday morning at 11:42 AM.Hurricane Katrina picked up her
bones and sure did rattle them too.The saddest thing is,some people lost
their lives.

Hurricane Katrina blew down a lot of trees onto a lot of electric power
lines in the Jackson area. Some houses suffered mostly minor damage from
the wind. Some trees got blown down onto some houses.I went over to my
sister and brother in law's home this morning,a distance of about five
miles from my house.I think I counted at least sixteen trees that had
gotten blown down, but there are many, many more trees all over the
Jackson metro area that got blown down. Some cities and towns in South
Mississippi and Louisiana suffered the worst damage. It will be years and
years before things get back to normal. There are a lot of refugees in
Jackson and other cities and states who dont have a home to go back to.

(what kind of animals attack a children's hospital?)

"The Children`s Hospital in New Orleans has come under siege by
looters, the New Orleans Times Picayune reports. Late Tuesday, Gov.
Kathleen Blanco`s spokeswoman Denise Bottcher said the facility in the
city`s north end was being targeted, and people in the hospital were in
danger. "The staff are huddled with the 100 sick kids inside, waiting
for help to arrive as looters try to break in," she said. The director
of the hospital said police had been summoned, but neither they nor
National Guard responded.

Even a nursing home was targeted by looters, who took a bus and
threatened the driver and residents. The home plans to relocate
residents and its director said she's considering arming workers."

Watch a little tv news and it becomes obvious to the most casual of
observers who the scum are.

Jefferson Parish under Martial Law.

No one being allowed into New Orleans.

DEATH TO LOOTERS ! !!!

It would be one thing if they were looting food, water or medicine.

Many are -- the police in some places have been told to make
that distinction.

But I've
heard reports that they are looting jewelry and electronics!

I'd still rather the police engaged in saving lives instead of
businesses. Who will probably claim total losses, looters or not.

Sort of like those Kurt Russell,Escape from New York,,, Escape from
L.A.(Los Angeles) movies.By the way,San Francisco and Los Angeles
rebuilt after Earthquakes. There is an Earthquake fault zone under New
York City. What if that New Madrid turned a big Earthquake loose again
and destroyed most of Memphis,Little Rock,St.Louis,etc.hastert would
say, they are not worth rebuilding again. What if an Earthquake destroyed
most of D.C.? What gives that hastert Bas.ard the right to even think!
New Orleans isn't worth rebuilding? The ONLY good politician is a (fill
in the dots, follow the bouncing ball O) .... politician!
