Nope. Of course, who knows what would have happened
in the breakdown of law and order. I've never seen a
breakdown in an affluent part of town, but that doesn't
mean that it can't happen, either. We got to see our own
personal breakdown of law and order up close and personal
here in Cincy. Took about 2 days to restore order in the 2001
riots, and that was without the logistical nightmare
facing NO right now. When all the police were trying
to restore order in the affected parts of town, several
houses in the "calmer" parts of town decided it was a
good idea to throw huge boozer and marijuana parties,
because they knew the cops weren't around to arrest
them or break up the parties.

Once enough National Guard troops and Army troops
(when they're formally invited in) hit the ground, the
lawlessness will get corrected. Besides, once NO is
cleared out, all the stolen stuff will have to remain behind
anyway. It would look rather obvious if you're trying
to get on a bus carrying a plasma television.

bare unpainted concrete/cinder block wall.Bet somebody you can hang the
bottle in the corner.Rub the bottle up and down agains't the inside
corner of the wall.If you do it right,the bottle will stay right there
for a while.Every link of a chain comes to a complete stop as the
link(s) are going around the chain sprockets even though the chain and

I'm afraid you've got it exactly backwards. You need a painted wall for that
one, and I've heard of empty beer bottles staying in place for -weeks-.

I learned that soda pop bottle trick in 1972 when I was going to night
(after my regular everyday time job driving a Sunbeam bread truck route
for Sunbeam Bakery) welding classes on the G.I.Bill at Raymond Jr
College in Raymond,Mississippi,eight miles Southwest from my doggys
couch.I have done the soda pop bottle trick before.I can weld anything
but the crack of Dawn and Dawn was a good auld gal.
