Default Quanfum QX Loop vs Kiwa Loop

Every once in a while I think about getting an antenna for MW DXing.
I've read that the Kiwa Loop is fantastic, but because MW isn't my
primary interest, I can't see paying the hefty price for a Kiwa.

Not quite as expensive is the Quantum QX and QX Pro loops. I've heard
that these are good, but how good are they, really? How would they
compare to the Kiwa loop?

I own both, and find the Kiwa to be better for MW. The nulls seem
sharper and the ability to tilt the loop (I think it's called azimuth?)
helps in nulling skywaves. The QX-PRO is smaller, thus easier to find a
spot for. The Kiwa doesn't receive LW, so of course the QX-PRO has the
LW advantage. Both are great antennas and you can't go wrong with
either one.

If memory serves, neither are manufactured any more.

That would be altitude or elevation. Azimuth is the compass bearing or direction
the signal comes from.

Heck, they are not being manufactured anymore? Gone just like Oldsmobile
Automobiles,(the oldest or one of the oldest Auto outfits in U.S.A.
www.devilfinder.com History of Oldsmobile There is much more
History concerning Oldsmobile and Oldsmobile connected to other
U.S.Automobile Companies than y'all realize,same with Dodge.Oldsmobile
used to build Trucks too,I have seen one of them here in Jackson
before, many years ago) witch are very, very good Automobiles,in my
opinion.A neighbor across the street from me owns two 1996
Oldsmobiles,very nice cars,they are too.General Motors Corporation

Doesn't the "DX/Local" switch on the Kiwa preamp box (on the loop) work this
way? I haven't tested it using a phaser yet, but in the local setting the
preamp introduces some degenerative feedback, and it really opens up the
loop's bandwidth.

If you've a phaser handy, does this sufficiently spoil the loop Q enough to
work with the Kiwa into it?

Could you test it?
