IC-7000 Freq. Blocked?
Help, I need to find out how you can tell if an Icom R-7000 is frequency
(c-phone) blocked. Also, do all R-7000 cover the SHF band, ~1000MHz - 20,000MHz? IOW: are all R-7000 the same? Thank you. west AF4GC |

Thank you. west AF4GC If a receiver is blocked, you'll see the display skip the restricted frequencies as you tune through them. R-7000 coverage spans 25Mhz to 1.999Ghz, with a short gap at 1000 to 1025MHz. Design, not blocked. R-7000's are not cell blocked. R-7100 coverage is continuous, except for later models which were cell blocked. |
