You get huge distortion without synch detection, most of the time,

Assuming you can hear them ; I guess they cover the eastern US,

FWIW the 6145 broadcast is coming in clear at 7:45PM EST on a Degen
DE1103 and no sideband is needed. Missed the 6120 broadcast so can't
report on that one.
