Even if the seller (or buyer) is a scammer, the rules state quite succinctly that you may not use any personal information in a public arena. This really includes the posting of sellers as scammers on usenet, and could technically get the poster's account closed. That being said, I doubt that ebay has people out gleaning usenet for posts about their clientele. EBay is self policing, and relies on complaints from users to become aware of problems. If no one complains, no action will be taken. Peter |
