My Antenna Farm

Glad they put that series back up -- it was removed for a while because of overreaction to 9/11... it's not that well-built-out a facility, there aren't may people there, and its away from things. For V/UHF, these were the antennas we used: http://www.dim.com/~efricha/DSES/DSE...lly_tipped.jpg http://www.dim.com/~efricha/DSES/DSE...ower_POV_2.jpg For HF and below, I used an abandoned 1000 foot v-sloper pair. quite effective on VLF -- I could pick up NDBs from Dallas there any time of day -- or, for that matter, all the 14.1 MHz propogation beacons at once. As for the above dishes, well, they're run by a bunch of hams now: http://www.dses.org/ I used to be on the board of that group. If I can find the time again I may join back. -- Eric F.
