I'd read about the SONY radio here
several months ago. ( ICF-S10MK2 ) It's an AM-FM pocket radio, sells at the SONY site for about $13. When I bought it, shipping was free. It must be a "next generation" radio. Tuning, sensitivity, selectivity are excellent. I live in southern Arizona, and on any given night, I listen to San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City, etc. I can't vouch for FM.... we only have 3 FM stations in the area. I often fall asleep with the radio "on", yet I'm still waiting to replace the batteries. If you're looking for a good radio value, look at the new SONY. You'll be surprised. |
