Hi,
I just purchased a Undien BC 796D scanner. The unit is in the bedroom and connected to my living room stereo with about 50' of shielded audio cable. This setup worked just fine with my old scanner. But since upgrading, I can barley hear the audio with the stereo turned all the way up. Here is what I've done so far to troubleshoot the problem: Connect "line out" of a portable CD player to the cable -- worked fine Connect a set of high-imp. headphones to the "tape out" jack of the scanner -- worked fine And suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bob PS - Yes, the "record" setting is turned on for the desired channels. |
