A little common sense goes a long way...like using a seperate card with a very low limit for paypal, then follow up on ALL transactions. The particular card I have I call the CC company every time I use it so they know its me. If I *don't* call them first, they are calling me within the hour asking if I have authorized the use of the card. Its very comforting to know that one way or the other BOTH the bank and myself know that the card is being legitimately used. -- Steve @ Noon-Air Heating and A/C When a work lifts your spirits and inspires bold and noble thoughts in you, do not look for any other standard to judge by: the work is good, the product of a master craftsman. - -- La Bruyere "Alex Devlin" wrote in message ... Why would you?
http://www.paypalwarning.com/ From that site: "Many Paypal accounts are frozen for almost anything and without warning until the owner faxes in lengthy and intrusive private information – several times over. Even then, the account may not be released. The account can usually receive money while it is frozen, but it certainly cannot withdrawal money." I'm curious - what SCHMUCK leaves his money in PayPal!? As soon as I receive money, I transfer it over to my bank account. If I want to pay via PayPal, I just logon and send it, without the money needing to be in the account. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 73! de Andy KC2SSB - WPYI880 (GMRS) Beachwood, NJ USA! What does it matter? ... the joy of scanning is on the
way out anyway! I mean, between FCC fascism and deliberate signal sabotage increasing every day, it's almost a repulsive activity any more. I also think you're asking way too much for your *cell blocked* impulse purchase, but I always get kick out of how people regard the digital platform as some sort of "new" technology.
