I bough one a month ago. It's simply amazing how this radio can do
everything while so small. I always have it on my pocket everywhere i go.
It's the first scanner/ham radio that i always keep with me like i do.

Another cool thing about the radio si that battery (look for np-60 fuji
battery) can be take from ebay for very low cost. I paid 15$ can each. so
with the 3 battery i have something like 40 hours of continus receive.

It far, far supperior than the vx-1r was and supperior (Exept the output
power) than my vx-5r.

Unfortunatly the antenna is very bad so try the comet antenna, sma-24 (20$)
and sma-501 (not sure of the model) they are very good.
