Default BPL strikes another win ...

Interestingly, the only significant provider of fiber to the home in
Norway *is* a power utility company.

===============================
Is that just to Oslo, Bergen , Trondheim and immediate surroundings
or also to the smaller places and rural areas ?

If it is viable for power companies to run fibre to the home in rural
areas BPL will become a non-issue.

Here in Scotland fibre is carried by 425kV system pylons but it is only
used for trunking . However fibre is being installed between telephone
exchanges ( by a Tsjech/Slowakian company)
