Perhaps what you desire is a moderated ng where someone gets to decide
what is and what's not appropriate for posting. I never liked that
idea but some folks consider it an anti-spam measure. Does your
newsreader have a killfiles option? Just set it to automatically send
posts you don't want in your inbox to the trash. Problem solved.

Killfiles cannot deal with all the posts that never get posted because
the potential posters have been deterred from using the newsgroup
because of all the spam.
