Roger beeps are considered VERY bad behavior when used on ham bands.
Indeed, the only place I have ever seen them used is by truck drivers on
the CB band.

They shortly grow annoying... I would suggest against their use, but if
you really have to have one, ask on rec.radio.cb they will be able to
provide you with a source, I am sure...

Roger beeps are actually used a lot on VHF SSB here in EU,
and they nicely show what an inefficient mode SSB is. Hardly
a VHF contest goes by, when I do NOT hear a station in SSB
calling me, where everything I can clearly copy is the
rogerbeep
