Default Popular CW frequencies for Boatanchors, SKN, etc.?

What are some good crystal frequencies I should consider for
80, 40 and 20 meters? Going to be firing up a XTR-1 Micamold
and Globe 40A when they are restored...

NAW.....

STAYAWAY FROM THERE... TOO MANY CONTESTERS, DX HOUNDS AND SPEED FREAKS -
THEY'LL STOMP ON AND BLOW AWAY YOUR LITTLE MICA TOY....

7.045 WOULD BE A GOOD FREQ - CLOSE ENOUGH TO QRP CALL FREQ 7.040 - BUT FAR
ENUF AWAY SO YOU CAN HAVE NICE RAG CHEWS. 7.046 IS GOOD TOO BUT STAYAWAY
FROM 7.047 .048 AND .049 BECAUSE OF NIGHTLY ARRL W1AW QRM.

ALSO STAY AWAY FROM 7.050 CAUSE THERE ARE A LOT OF NETS HERE. 7.052 TO
7.058 ARE ALL GOOD FREQS. .57. 58. .59 ARE CLOSE TO THE FISTS CALLING FREQ
7.060.

THE TRICK IS TO CALL CQ NEARBY A BUSY FREQ AND LET THE OTHER GUY SWING A FEW
KC UP SO YOU CAN CHEW THE RAG IN THE CLEAR.

STAYAWAY FROM ANY FREQ ABOVE .60 AS IT'S IN HEAVY USE FROM SSB'ERS FROM
SOUTH AMERICA, CANADA AND JAPAN. ALL USING VERY HIGH POWER AND
OMNI-DIRECTIONAL ANTS.

THEY CAN HEAR YOU - THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A ****... UNTIL YOU RUN A KILOWATT

AS FOR 20, SAME THING APPLIES - ANY FREQ ABOVE 14..050 IS GOOD. 14.060 IS
FISTS CALL FREQ AND BECAUSE NO SSB IS ALLOWED HERE ANY FREQ ABOVE OR BELOW
..060 IS GOOD.

HEY DON'T FORGET 80 METERS !!! SURE IT SUCKS NOW BUT THIS WINTER IT WILL BE
GREAT. ANY FREQ HERE WILL DO NICELY...

LASTLY, DONT FORGET THE NOVICE BANDS - 3.7 - 3.75 AND 7.1 - 7.150. STILL
SOME ACTIVITY THERE - ALOT OF OLD TIMERS WITH OLD NOVICE GEAR STILL RAGCHEW
UP THERE ESPECIALLY DURING CONTEST WEEKENDS. MIGHT BE WORTH IT TO HAVE A
ROCK OR TWO FOR WHEN "CONTEST QRM" GETS BAD.

GOOD UCK AND CU ON 40 CW -

- BIZ - WDØHCO

That ONLY works if he has a lousy receiver.

A decent receiver is not going to hear a signal that is 500 to 1000 Hz
away. Your idea that guys on 7040 are going to listen for a signal 5
kHz away might have been a good suggestion 40 years ago, but not
today. It ain't happening.

The way ARRL is headed, CW and AM will be illegal in five or ten
years anyway!
