Hello All: As everyone has talked about the conditions changing not a hole lot is being done. So I figured it was on me to get things going here. The old adage of washing your car knowing this will bring rain. So I have taken down my beam antenna for a few adjustments. This should bring in massive band openings and such. Needing to install a new winch assembly as this small tower is used to raise and lower all my test antennas and such, the winch needs replacing. I have eating up 3 of the cheap winches from Harbor Freight. They just arn't made for the powerful gear reduction torque motor I use to lower and raise the tower, sometimes ten times a day or even more. Depends how misinformed I am thinking how the antenna works. So as you can I am doing my part. Your cooperation would be appreciated, by keeping an ear open for the band openings.
