Many HAMs travel from around the world and this is a busy event for card
checking. Please remember these tips that will help you and the card
checkers through the process, avoid delays and allow us to serve everyone:

1. Preparation:
---------------
Visit http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc/faq/ for complete information on the
Application Process and for information on filling out the form:
- THERE IS A 120 CARD LIMIT PER APPLICANT
- Make sure that your cards are in proper order. Band first, then mode.
Cards with multiple QSOs at the end
- The order on the record sheet MUST match the order of the cards
- The latest forms are on the DXCC website: http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc
- Have all paperwork completed before you come to the table
- Make sure everything is legible
- List only QSOs you want credit for

If you plan to do a Hybrid application (paper application with Logbook of
The World) you must do the LoTW portion prior to leaving for Friedrichshafen

2. When you arrive at the ARRL booth in Friedrichshafen:
--------------------------------------------------------
- Check in with the next available card checker
- The checker will take your application and issue you a numbered receipt
- Advise the checker of anything important to the card checker BEFORE they
start
- You do not have to wait while your application is checked

3. When you return to claim your cards:
---------------------------------------
- Present the numbered receipt to the card checker to claim your cards
- The card checker will return your cards to you
- DXCC will not take cards back to ARRL with them, you must claim them
- The card checker will advise you of the final fees
- Payment is due upon completion of your application

4. Payment methods:
-------------------
- Credit Card (preferred)
- Cash (USD or Euro only)
- Check (from USA bank only)
- Money Order (US and international OK)
- DXCC cannot bill you
- Please see rule 15 for the latest fee information

If possible, please bring with you a copy of your last credit slip.

Special information about the LogBook of The World registration:

create an LoTW account for a DXpedition or a club callsign, you must bring
proper documentation (eg: License and proof that you were at the DXpedition
