I just did a quick search on Motorola and GM350 and found sites in Europe (I
assume you're there somewhere) for companies that sell this radio. The first one was: http://www.masonel.demon.co.uk/products/gm350.htm No idea what they're like but it's a starting point. Cheers. That radio already comes with tone squelch. It sounds like you want the
Quick-Call option. Many of the Motorola radios had that in the stock unit also. If you program it up, check to see if this signaling option is available "out of the box". How about a MDC burst with your Drivers license and SS# and
ignition kill switch encoded for easy tracking? Available on some models "Pete KE9OA" wrote in message ... That radio already comes with tone squelch. It sounds like you want the Quick-Call option. I believe the OP really IS looking for a 'roger bleep' (made famous by the early NASA transceivers that put a 'bleep' at the end of each transmission so that the receiver would know that it was their time to transmit). It's an option on some radios....but don't know if it is software controlled on his model. |
