I have a friend who has a Yaesu FT-8800R transceiver That transmits a "beep" each time he transmits. We could probably figure out how to turn it off if we knew what the function is called... snip I had the same thing. I can't remember what the function was called but it took me a few hours to find out what it was trough experimentation. Press the right hand volume control down briefly disables it. I really hate the controls for this radio. They add stupid functions like this to the front panel but leave important things like memory skip deep in the menus. |
