Default FCC Renewal

Help to anyone who has renewed the ham radio license!

I sorting thru the paperwork from the FCC form 605. I can't determine
if there will be a fee to renew my non-vanity license. I think, from
what I can tell, the fee is $20.80, but I can't tell if this is just
for an initial vanity application.

Can anyone help??

If you don't have a vanity call, then there is no FCC charge for renewal of your
license.

If you are renewing a vanity-call license, then the fee is charged.

Thanks. The wording on the fee form 1070Y says that the fee is for
INITIAL VANITY LICENSE or RENEWEL. I guess that means renewel for a
vanity license. But it's confusing. Thanks for your help.
