What do I have to program into this thing to get into today's UHF and VHF repeaters? I'm primarily interested in GB3OK, GB3KN and GB3CK. Thanks, You propably need to use the CTCSS. The modern repeaters use this exclusively or with an option of the 1750Hz tone. CTCSS is a sub audible tone, one of a choice of several. The same tone is generally used for all of the repeaters in a geographical area. Many of the 1750Hz tone repeaters still in use, use a logic which not only needs the tone, but also need several seconds of speech to latch them open. -- Regards, Harry (M1BYT) (L) http://www.ukradioamateur.co.uk |
