We have to thank specialy to Brigitta, DH4KYL. and Eckart, DJ4UF,

Sad news from 7X via Maurice, F5NQL-DX-News:
Mustapha, DL1BDF, has forwarded this sad new from Algeria - According
to OM Mokthar (7X5JF), the Algerian authorities have cancelled for
an inknown while, the use of the 80 and 17 meters bands and VHF and
UHF ones. We all hope a quick return on these bands for our Algerian

Eugen, DL3ZAL, will be on holiday trip at the Isle of Corfou
(KERKYRA, Greece, SV8-area, JM99WM) begin until mid july and qrv time
to time on 144 MHz. LATEST NEWS de Eugen, DL3ZAL, dated 2008-07-07:
Just could reach Eugen on HF (14 MHz) and he cfmd that he reached JM99
in gd condition. He will try to set up soon the RIG and will pass a
start signal to MMMonVHF when he is ready and qrv via MS. In the
VHF-Contest he did reach some IS0 stations and longest QRB was about

Johan, PA3FPQ and Juergen, PE1LWT are on holiday trip in southern
france and italy and now in JN43. They show up time to time from

Massimo, IZ4DPV will participate in the IARU HF World Championship
as D4C from Cape Verde and be qrv as well 50 and 144 MHz from D4!

Also in 2008 Matej, OK1TEH, from JO70FD, is looking for 432 MHz MS
Skeds... Matej did set up a page with an overview of active 432 MHz
stations which are able to run 432 MHz Meterorscatter and share their
infos. What you need for 70cm MS attempt? If you use FSK441 you need
just some 100W PA in cca 17el yagi and lot of patience. Read more

Tom, N7AMA just told me that he will be operating from DM32 on
Saturday afternoon of the CQ WW VHF Contest (have a look at:

will tentatively be operating from DM46 during the 2009 June VHF

group from July 22-27 include RSGB IOTA Contest on July 26/27.

EU-064. Members of the RC de Provins ARC will be active as TM7C from
Ile de Noirmoutier during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 26-27th). Operators
mentioned a Frank/F4AJQ (SSB), Jean-Paul/F8BJI (SSB), Romain/F8BUI,
Flo/F5CWU (CW), Bruno/F5AGB and Bernard/ F9IE (CW). Activity will be a
Multi-Op/Mixed-Mode/24-HR/Low-Power entry. Look for activity outside of
the contest on the HF bands, including the WARC bands and 6m. Modes will
be CW, SSB and digitals. QSL via F6KOP, bureau preferred.

VP2, MONTSERRAT. Frank, K3TRM, is now active as VP2MRM until July 13th.
He will be active on all bands 80-6 meters. He is expected to run at
least 100 watts on 6 meters, quite possibly 500-1KW if VP2M law permits,
into a 5 element yagi. Frank has been spotted over the past weekend on
14260 and 18145 kHz between 1800-0500z. QSL via K3TRM.
