writes: Being licensed as a Novice would be a vast improvement for most of these geniuii. *Definitely* and most especially in the case of Putzie-Poo. Ya gotta wonder how they plan to match these 1/4 wave dipoles at their highest impedance point. "Uhhh.... say wot?" Well, DICK, make that dick, matching is the name of the game with nearly any "wire" type antenna, so you must be too dumbed down to pick up on that concept. It doesn't matter the matching, it was said first there was no such thing as a 1/4 wave antenna. Then, when proof positive was given, the *cough* superior hams (such as you in your mind) said "it would never work." Then, when proof positive was given, all that's being done now is sneering. So, superior ham(s) et al, try again.... Kim, he can NOT do so. All we get out of DICK is a lot of gratuitous insults and denigrations. I guess that's what the "superiors" in US ham radio think is the "proper attitude" of hams? LHA |
