Scott KC8LDO ARRL Member NCI Member Tsk, tsk, going to add stuff after the "signature" of "imporance?" I'm an NCI member also. I'm also a Life Member in the IEEE. Don Ross (an extra who has never logged an HF contact) NL7CO/EM04 What a nice coincidence. Sergeant First Class Donald A. Ross was the Maintenance NCOIC at Army Radio station ADA in the mid- to late fifties. ADA was exclusively on HF using 43 transmitters. I have a nice digitized Signal Corps photograph of SFC Ross adjusting a 4 KW PEP Western Electric transmitter. Don was an amateur radio licensee, held both Radiotelephone and Radiotelegarph First Class Commercial licenses. He would be in his early 80s by now if still with us. LHA |
