Should Morse code be retained as a requirement to obtain an amateur radio license in the U.S.? 73 Code Yes or No Morse is not required to obtain an amateur radio license in the US. It is only required to obtain the General class license (and by inference the Extra class license, which has the General class license as a prerequisite). Morse has not been a licensing requirement in the US for several years now. Raymond Sirois KU2S SysOp: The Lost Chord BBS 607-733-5745 telnet://thelostchord.dns2go.com:6000 |
