FCC decision does it state that an information bulletin can not be opinionated??? please quote it from rule or statement from the FCC. You say I'm in violation of federal law so please enlighten me which laws am I in violation of? Todd N9OGL |

Once you have tainted "information" with individual opinion, it is no longer information, but editorial. FCC rules and regulations allow for the transmission of bulletins of general interest to the Amateur service. Your "bulletins", made up of YOUR "opinion", do not meet the test of "general interest. Read it yourself, Toiddie. You've requoted it over and over enough. Steve, K4YZ |

Oh...You mean the SMAE Dan Rather that's humuiated himself lately by "going live" with "stories" that were unsubstantiated and patently false on the face of it? Explain, with citations. No citation needed. Just spend a semester in a Freshman journalism class. Todd can broadcast his "shows" if he cares to, but just like K1MAN, he gonna have to eventually face the federal music, Brian.. Don't take my word for it...A former FCC communications lawyer said so himself in this forum. There ya go. Steve, K4YZ |

You mean you WEREN'T PAYING ATTENTION...?!?! Not, YOU..!!! I am so SHOCKED....(not!) "...me and Phil..." Didn't discuss anything. I asked Phil some very specific questions regarding your alleged "bulletins", and he responded that indeed your actions were not in compliance with Part 97. He further stated your statements vis-a-vis made you ineligible for a broadcast license and could casue your Amateur license to be reviewed before being routinely renewed next time around... Assuming, of course, you still HAVE an Amateur license TO renew.... Steve, K4YZ |

Were all of the ARRL bulletins wrt BPL free of opinion? |
