Keep your left wing crap under you wet behind the ears.

Oh boy, now you spin political! I -love- arguing politics! So are you
a Bush supporter? or do you think there should be an amendment to the
Constitution that guarantees every citizen the right to vote?

amusing that he assumes you are left wing indeed he assumes I am

I voted for bush becuase I agree with more than I disagree and I agree
with alot more than I agreed with Bore or Kerry

I voted for Bush the first time because I didn't think Gore could
handle the job. Since then I have voted third-party or independent
across the board because both parties suck and I want better choices.

I grew up just fine. What's your problem is the REAL question.

Aw, gee, and just as I was beginning to think that you were starting
to get a clue..... IT'S NOT ABOUT ME, DAN!!!

say it isn't so please tell that you were thinking Dan has a usable
mind

Maybe you're right -- at his age there aren't too many coherent years
left to worry about.

and I had such respect for you

I can change. (Remember Saddam singing that in the South Park movie?)

I don't think Dee was flaming you. She was just pointing out possible ways you
might find to help out. Only you are in a position to evaluate those
possibilities.

He doesn't have the slightest interest in helping out, so he considers
any suggestion that he might do so, to be a flame. All he wants to do is
whine.

Maybe, maybe not. But it sure wouldn't hurt to postpone the medal

Who said there would be any medal presentations, frankieboy?

My wife and I just watched a supply convoy of high-wheeled
trucks (dozens) loaded with many things inching their way into
New Orleans through water, their wheels leaving a virtual boat
wake, somehow able to stay on a hard-to-see "roadway." Radio
didn't drive those trucks.

I betcha those drivers were keeping in touch by radio.
I doubt those truck drivers are
"amateur" drivers. I salute THEM for daring to bring much-
needed supplies through a seemingly impassible path.

No, they were trained to drive those truck, just like many of the hams
have trained, on their own time, at their own expense, to handle
emergency communications.

Yes, there ARE emotional needs for many and amateur radio WILL
satisfy those things. But, the providers of such emotional
filling are NOT "heroes,"

I don't see any of them claiming to be heroes.

Every effort, large or small, is worth doing and celebrating.

I'll celebrate my efforts when the people that are being devastated by
this disaster can celebrate their's. I do that out of respect for
those who have died or will die soon, and for those who have lost
their family, their homes, or both. Is a little respect too much to
ask? Or are you all too busy filling out forms to secure your places
in the Hurricane Hero Parade?

more lies Cmdr

but Dee should bother to know what she is talking about before she
starts giving orders

a little fairness on her part might also be nice, but frankly I don't
expect of any of the Extras, I am presently surprised when I get it but
I don't expect it

Id love to help if such were possible without negleting my Own
responiblities

And what has license class got to do with it ?? If you can't help with your
radio activity and can't go, there alway always donations needed. The point
is your individual negatism toward the ARRL and people's individual
activities.
