"then upload them." Lol, now your just being retarded... [he cant upload] He cannot do this as it is a FREE FORUM HOST... the only access he has is phpbb admin.. NOTHING ELSE.. If he can't even upload the phpBB files, it's not even a host - he's being given access to someone else's BB. If he can upload the phpBB files, he can change them before he uploads them. It is "hosting" a phpbb for him, he isnt given ftp access so no "uploads", he is only given admin access to the phpbb board... NOTE: If he was hosting his own forum using phpbb and mysql databases then YES he could change anything he wanted, he could upload any new styles, or edit the templates himself, but as he doesnt have access to the webspace itself, then he only has limited access to what he can do GoDaddy hosts my phpBB (that means that it runs on their computers - they have nothing to do with the PHP code I upload to the site) and I rewrite it any time I want to rewrite it, so don't tell someone who's done it that it can't be done. Learn what "hosting", "uploading" and "programming" mean. I understand these terms, and you have ftp access to the space that GoDaddy allocate you... he doesnt, so all I can say is "learn to read" |
