Default Is State of Michigan 800 digital trunk system encrypted?

Is following the Detroit system still a major challenge ?

It's not great. Some people have better results than others, depending

on
location.

The Pro 96 has had several DSP modifications released for it by Radio
Shack. These modifications make the Pro-96 and its tabletop brother
the 2096 into excellent scanners for monitoring the Detroit towers.
The Uniden scanners are vastly inferior and have not had any DSP
modifications made by Uniden in order to improve their performance
with systems such as the Detroit (Tower 701) MPSCS system.
