FRS: Family Radio Service, no license required, 1/2 watt max., no antenna
modifications.

GMRS: General Mobile Radio Service, license required, used to be used by
some small businesses, but was turned back over to "Citizens Radio Service".

ITIN: Itinerant, low power, usually mobile situations, used at random, (not
fixed), locations. Typically used for business.

The colors, and stars, were used to designate various frequencies, without
actually showing what they were.
