Default BC250D very strange problem

I have had a uniden BC250D scanner for about 2 months now and lately
ive been having a very weird problem. Basically the scanner works in
conventional mode fine, but in trunked mode it doesnt. It seems to
hear a talkgroup, find its ID, and then jump to many frequencies
during that conversation, almost like its confused and it bounces
inbetween all frequencies programmed in the trunked system. The really
weird part is that in convential, the 800Mhz channels can be heard. in
trunked mode, this is not the case. Before, the trunking systems
worked fine. It is like this on all systems. I have even tried a
system reset with the scanner and wiped out the memory. Still nothing
worked. Uniden told me to send it it, but im wondering if anyone else
had a similar problem? Thanks

Dave

Sorry, but I learned this the hard way too...the micro-pro lost it's mind.
I'd recommend you re-set the unit as per manual. As on some Alinco units,
you may be able to "re-set" the CPU without disrupting your pre-progged
memory. At very worst, you'll have to re-program the radio - but it might be
worth a try.

My credentials? I'm no radio expert, but I've worked with cpu devices for
about 20 years. Sometimes a simple 're-set' / Power Cycle / or cold re-boot
make every problem go away.

Good luck,
Mike T.
