Now I am even more confused. I look up the autoritative radio reference and I found out that according to http://www.radioreference.com/module...=TRSDB&sid=208 Miami Police does not use TYPE I or TYPE II Motorola, but *EDACS*?!?! This is the Dade County system. The City of Miami uses http://www.radioreference.com/module...=TRSDB&sid=206. Since the city is located within the county, it might seem confusing. Miami city police are on the Motorola system. Dade County police are on the EDACS system. I doubt that makes it any more clear to you. Program both systems - you'll hear some action on one and some action on the other. |
