The recent one in Ottawa featured shouting matches between US and European members about the US plan to invade Iran. I must tell them at their next meeting in Canada that they do not exist. Are you a paid agent of the ADL or the Southern Poverty Law Center tasked with harassing Chuck Harder? Why else would you spend so much time listening to someone you detest? Why would you revive this old thread? It was interesting to fid out, however, that the ADL is against free speech.. And why do you ignore the facts and ideas I put forward in previus post in favour of some new straw man? It's obvious ... you, sir, are an anti-Semite. You hate Jews. You hate Israel. And you probably hate me because a) I'm Jewish; and b) I speak out when I hear anti-Semites. I do not "ignore the facts"; if you carefully read my posts, I do not disagree with you that the U.S. has serious economic issues that need to be addressed -- like income distribution, trade, the loss of manufacturing jobs (the NYC area, home to about 2 million Jews, has lost about 1 million factory jobs since 1979), immigration, and so forth. You mentioned the "controlled press." Who "controls" the press, ve3? The Jews? Obviously you think so, with your anti-ADL rants. Wow ... this whole anti-Semitic "Jews control the world" claptrap is truly amazing. As horrible and barbaric as the classical racist paradigm was, it at least had an identifiable pedigree -- they just didn't look like the rest of us! So they must be different - and inferior! That is of course a vicious lie, but a lie that led to much misery, violence and death in the U.S. in the last 200 years or so. But look at anti-Semitism. That has led to even more violence, misery and death -- culminating in the Holocaust. Oh ... you probably believe the Holocaust didn't happen. Those crafty devil Jews ... how clever ... they faked the whole thing! Amazing!! As much as I know about anti-Semitism, I still do not -- after about 40 years of studying it -- do not know why it even exists. It should not exist. By every logical, physical, and metaphysical argument, it should have died out about 2,000 years ago. Yet it goes on and on and on. Oh, and finally, I am NOT a "paid agent" of the ADL, the SPLC, of anybody. That is a totally asinine assertion. One more thing: The ADL and the SPLC are not "against free speech." They have never, never, never tried to muzzle freedom of expression. They are center-left organizations, to be sure, and have even teamed with the "dreaded" ACLU in free-speech cases. I think I have "vented my spleen" enough here ... |
