It's 5 watts. I don't know why so many fear HD radio. It's going to
exist along side analogue radio, it won't take its place. I can't
understand why shortwave fans, who want to recieve all the information
that is on the airwaves, would not be interested in free digital
signals.

Fear? HD radio transmissions are trashing the band. I already can not
hear stations because of that crap.
