I'd probably go for the 9770 just based on time of day - but this
station has never been really powerful here in California, and they
remain recalcitrant about sending a QSL ;-)

Here is my log of 11 March:

9770.2 SRI LANKA. Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, 0055-0142,
3/11/07. Heard at 0055 with possible anthem, drum beats, prior to that had test
tone on the frequency. Time pips at 0100, ID, schedule, and into English program.
Later into old pop music, Air Supply, 38 Special, etc. Totally gone by 0142.

dxAce, Question for you - when you write out for a QSL, is this the
level of detail you provide, or is it more? I typically provide as
much as I can pack in - it is a labor-intensive process - and then
wonder if it's enough!

Thanks,
BJ

Still on winter time here, I mistakenly checked at 8 PM yesterday for Sri Lanka.

When I got up this morning I suddenly realised that that is only 0000 GMT, and no
wonder I didn't hear 'em!

I should look at the clock above the radios.

LMFAO at myself.
