Given Telamon's attitude, Taliban would be more appropriate ;-) Jajaja. That is funny. What's funny is the schoolyard mentality you bring to every group you post in. Assuming you work in broadcasting at all, it'd be interesting to know what your colleagues think when they see the nature and magnitude of your usenet activities. Let's see... even if I posted 20 times a day, at maybe a minute or two a post, that is a tiny bit of time. Considering one only is supposed to work 8 hours a day, there seems enough left over for a few posts. Of course I'm not talking about time. None of your colleagues (assuming you have any) would care to count the minutes you spend on usenet, but they would be plenty surprised by the nature of your posts. Even more interesting to them would be the more general project of planting yourself in this group, doing your best to initiate squabbles by spamming the group with one off-topic post after another, and then engaging in your little, sissy "battles" about IBOC or whatever is convenient. You actually alternate between sounding like a 12 year old on a playground and the old lady who lives down the street from me, the one who spoils for any kind of "dispute" she can generate---anything to bring someone into her life so that she's the focus of their attention. You're very fortunate that your desperate need for attention will probably allow you to tolerate any embarrassment, no matter how extreme. There is nothing embarrassing about defending a point of view, even one unpopular in certain circles. 'Nuff said. |
