"Journal Broadcast Revenues Down In November"

MILWAUKEE -- December 19, 2008: Journal Communications' revenue fell
10 percent in November, to $36 million, compared to $40 million in
November 2007. Ad revenues were off by 12.8 percent.

In Journal's broadcast segment, total revenue was down 7.9 percent, to
$16.9 million from $18.4 million. Radio was off 12 percent, to $6.1
million from $6.9 million, with declines in all markets except
Springfield, Wichita, and Omaha. On the TV side, revenue fell 5.4
percent, to $10.8 million from $11.5 million.

Journal's publishing group saw revenues fall 11.7 percent, to $19.1
million from $21.6 million a year ago.
